This year in history
In the year 1755

	January 25th	Moscow University was founded.
	April 11th	English physician, James Parkinson, was born in London, England. He was the first to describe the disease now known as "Parkinson's Disease".
	November 1st	A massive earthquake hit Lisbon, Portugal, which, along with the huge tsunami waves that it generated, destroyed most of the city. The earthquake is estimated to have been a 9 on the Richter scale, killing approximately 80000 people.
