	August 11th	Anna Maria Luisa de' Medici, was born in Florence. She was the last of the Medicis, which was the most powerful Florentine family from the 13th to 17th century.
	November 25th	A strong earthquake hit Caucasus mountains killed an estimated 80,000 people.
