In the year 1321
Italian author, Dante Alighieri, died at the age of 56. He is considered as one of the greatest literary figures in history. His greatest work, 'la Divina Commedia' (The Divine Comedy), is considered as the greatest piece of literary work produced in Europe during the Middle Ages.
